Cameron was diagnosed with Medulloblastoma in Febuary of 2008. After his tumor resection surgery, he underwent six weeks of radiation therapy and four months of chemotherapy. After these treatments, we went back into our "normal" lives and Cameron progressed well getting back into school and the day-to-day of being a little boy.



However, a routine MRI on March 19, 2010 showed his cancer had returned. On November 9th, 2011, Cameron finally conquered his battle with cancer when he opened his eyes to the joys of heaven. Even in these dark days, we know God has richly blessed us by putting so many wonderful people in our path during this journey and we are so very thankful for them all.

We're officially done with Round 1

Cam just finished his Stemcell reinfusion and it went well.  He is zonked out from the premeds, so he pretty much slept through it all and had no adverse reactions, so Round 1 is now officially OVER.  He had some pretty bad stomach pain yesterday, but we finally got it under control with an "extra" med and some Tums.  He had a better night and has been in a pretty good mood today, so we're definitely ending the week on a positive note.
 
From what they tell us, we should be getting out of here early tomorrow barring any excitement between now and then, so hopefully we'll be home by lunch tomorrow!!  Thanks all for the prayers to get us through this first week.  It's been an emotional rollercoaster, but by the grace of God, we've made it.  I'm sure LeAnn will post again later, but I wanted to get this out now in case folks were looking for a final update for the week.
