Cameron was diagnosed with Medulloblastoma in Febuary of 2008. After his tumor resection surgery, he underwent six weeks of radiation therapy and four months of chemotherapy. After these treatments, we went back into our "normal" lives and Cameron progressed well getting back into school and the day-to-day of being a little boy.

However, a routine MRI on March 19, 2010 showed his cancer had returned. On November 9th, 2011, Cameron finally conquered his battle with cancer when he opened his eyes to the joys of heaven. Even in these dark days, we know God has richly blessed us by putting so many wonderful people in our path during this journey and we are so very thankful for them all.

So far...so good

Just a quick update to let everyone know Cam did really well today.  This is the scary combo of stuff and we had the extra information dropped on us right before things started that he might be even more open to getting a fever today which might land him in the PICU, but true to form, little man has held his own and had a pretty good day.  His blood pressure did drop this time with the secondary med, so it may be a cumulative thing where it gets a bit worse each time.  It didn’t drop enough to warrant them actually taking any measures against it, but it did drop which was new to him.  He *only* had one episode of vomiting and that was when he had to get up to go to the bathroom…just like last round.  So for the rest of the day, we just used his “pee pot” for “number 1’s” to keep him in the bed as much as possible.  He’s such a funny little guy…it’s a game to him to see how full he can get the pee pot, so even in yucky times like this, he can make something fun out of things and manage a big smile when he sets a new record.

Tomorrow and Wednesday are only a single med and should be easier days if he holds the same pattern as last time, so pray the rest of the week can go as well as today.
