It's been a great few days...

To say our life is a roller coaster is an understatement. Last Thursday, after Cameron had another bad day, I called his oncologist and asked him to come to the house and see our little guy. Without hesitation he did (don't you love an oncologist willing to make a house call?) and by the time he arrived, Cameron had snapped out (again) of the sleepiness and was bright eyed and happy to see his much loved Dr. G. Dr. G spent some time with us and encouraged us to cut back on Cameron's steroid and if headaches began, treat them with pain meds and try to give him a break from the steroids that make him feel yucky. A hard call but we agreed. And guess what, we had a great weekend!!! It was so incredibly amazing to hear his little giggle again and see him actually "playing" with his new bowling set. For four mornings now, he has gotten up with a smile on his face. He is still having trouble walking and EJ ends up carrying him most places. But for now, his personality is somewhat coming back and for that...I am incredibly grateful.
