Cameron was diagnosed with Medulloblastoma in Febuary of 2008. After his tumor resection surgery, he underwent six weeks of radiation therapy and four months of chemotherapy. After these treatments, we went back into our "normal" lives and Cameron progressed well getting back into school and the day-to-day of being a little boy.
However, a routine MRI on March 19, 2010 showed his cancer had returned. On November 9th, 2011, Cameron finally conquered his battle with cancer when he opened his eyes to the joys of heaven. Even in these dark days, we know God has richly blessed us by putting so many wonderful people in our path during this journey and we are so very thankful for them all.
It's with bittersweet emotion that I am writing to say our sweet Cameron finally conquered his battle with cancer and entered into the arms of Jesus shortly after 3pm today. EJ and I were with him when he made his first cry, we held him as he took his last breath. It's a new beginning for Cameron...I cannot imagine what his eyes opened to. It's a new beginning for us as we adjust to our new "normal." But forever, we will be a family of four.

Our family grieves with you tonight. But, in the morning light, we also rejoice with you in the knowledge that Cameron is with our Father and in perfect peace. God bless you and your family and thank you for keeping us updated on Cam. Although its been years since I worked with him, I'll always rememeber his charming smile, warmth, and fortitude. He now is in a wonderful place where cars abound. --Brian, PT
LeAnn, my heart absolutely breaks for you as a mother. To have met Cameron and Nicholas at Bob's Buddies forever changed my life. But the greatest impact was that very first day I worked phones taking donations and you walked over to me with your credit card & info wanting to make your own donation. I couldn't even look up at you because my insides were screaming - here is this mom who has a sick child, she's been thru this and there's no telling what the medical expenses alone totalled, yet you felt compelled to be there that day and in such a huge way support that great fundraiser. I will forever hear Cameron singing on the air to Kristin and seeing that huge smile that was so contagious. Your entire family has touched us in so many ways. What blessings we've received as a result of your journey! May God comfort you in only a way that He can now & for future days. Feel and accept the love even total strangers have for you. Rejoice knowing that Nicholas was there waiting with open arms at the gates of Heaven. Can you imagine those two personalities and the celebration that's going on right now? Giggles and singing and jokes galore. I challenge anyone reading this to listen to G105 on Wednesday (the day before Thanksgiving) and call in with a pledge in honor of Cameron. EVERY single donations makes a difference no matter the size. Make the call! Love to you all.

My heart is heavy for you....
He will carry you through this. Breathe-pray to Him through every moment. He holds you so tightly and loves you endlessly. Imagine the look on Cam's face as he sits in his Savior's lap.
