I know there are many people wondering the results of Cameron's MRI. As feared, the results were not what we had hoped for. Many apologies for taking so long to post this update but we've just been clinging to each other and trying to digest the news. So many people have asked what they can do for us during this time and honestly what we need more than anything is prayer. Ernest and I firmly believe that God is walking with us, and especially Cameron, every step of the way. However, this doesn't mean we aren't hurting or that we understand God's plan for our son's life. Walking by faith is never easy, especially when the will of our Lord may not match the will of our hearts. So for now...just pray!
Cameron was diagnosed with Medulloblastoma in Febuary of 2008. After his tumor resection surgery, he underwent six weeks of radiation therapy and four months of chemotherapy. After these treatments, we went back into our "normal" lives and Cameron progressed well getting back into school and the day-to-day of being a little boy.
However, a routine MRI on March 19, 2010 showed his cancer had returned. On November 9th, 2011, Cameron finally conquered his battle with cancer when he opened his eyes to the joys of heaven. Even in these dark days, we know God has richly blessed us by putting so many wonderful people in our path during this journey and we are so very thankful for them all.

Praying for you. Debbie and Matt
May God's grace surround your entire family. He makes no mistakes no matter which road He leads us down. He always has a purpose and I know first hand that Cameron (and you LeAnn-for me personally) has touched people's hearts, changed them and made them realize the most important things in life. He gives us hope, even thru circumstances like yours. That doesn't diminish the pain but whether Cameron's life is here on this earth or in Heaven, he lives and spreads that beautiful contagious smile! Praying for your peace and comfort. Love to you all!

I just wanted to say again how precious I thought the service was last night. I am so thankful that God orchestrated the weather, etc. to make that service possible! I've learned not to agonize over "what to say" because I know that words can't make everything better...but LeAnn's message to Jeff last night combined with my observation of your family makes me need to tell you that I feel like I'm witnessing something very....Holy taking place in your home. Love and many, many prayers.
Prayers go up from Buford GA.
Praying for your family and that you may all find peace.
