Cameron was diagnosed with Medulloblastoma in Febuary of 2008. After his tumor resection surgery, he underwent six weeks of radiation therapy and four months of chemotherapy. After these treatments, we went back into our "normal" lives and Cameron progressed well getting back into school and the day-to-day of being a little boy.



However, a routine MRI on March 19, 2010 showed his cancer had returned. On November 9th, 2011, Cameron finally conquered his battle with cancer when he opened his eyes to the joys of heaven. Even in these dark days, we know God has richly blessed us by putting so many wonderful people in our path during this journey and we are so very thankful for them all.

Round 4 is beginning and a bit of "humor"

Cam starts his next round of Chemo tomorrow, so we’re getting ready for the onslaught of pills again for the next couple weeks. He’s felt pretty good overall, but over the last week or so, his hair has decided to fall out again. Cam being Cam, he decided he was tired of it getting in his face all the time, so he told LeAnn he wanted his hair “to be like daddy’s”. I’ve been kinda slack keeping my head shaved, so I keep a good bit of stubble pretty much all the time and Cam has decided that’s how he wants his hair to look. I’ve always wanted to give him a good buzz cut, so here was my opportunity. We got the clippers out and he’s high and tight now….just like daddy. What a wonderful little man I’m fortunate enough to have been blessed with.

Also...at his weight check today, he actually GAINED weight, so the prayers, along with the multiple Ensure Plus drinks per day, have definitely been spot on!!
